Homework Policy
Homework will be assigned Monday-Thursday. Other than independent reading and when preparing for tests or working on projects students will not be given homework on the weekends. (There will be a few free-writing assignments due on Monday but that will be only once a month) Homework is collected at the beginning of the school day. Students must turn it in to receive credit. If a child fails to complete the homework, he will be given a chance to do it for partial credit. It is crucial that your student attempts to do their homework, as it reinforces the material we have learned during the day. Homework will be based on a check system, which full-credit reflecting a check plus, partial credit a check, and no credit (this will only be given if the student does not turn in the homework) with a zero.
